At 12 am this morning Isaiah sounded the trumpet to be fed. Half asleep we fixed bottles and wandered into the nursery. (We could probably do this in our sleep by now.) I started unwrapping Isaiah to feed him (we take turns feeding different kids at night so we have time to bond with each), and as soon as I got him unwrapped he made eye contact with me and reached out his arms. Reached out his arms to ME...Mama! He has this distressed look on his face like "Get me up" and started whining. Dana says it sounded like he said "hold me." Now we both know he probably didn't say that, but it sure felt good to think that he might have. I cannot tell you how it thrilled my heart to have my child reach out for me like that.
It was this moment that made me realize that I should be keeping better records of our moments with them...and each other. (I have been making posts to Facebook, but posts are sometimes difficult to retrieve. Herein...this blog was born.) One of these days I want to be able to show them the blessings they have received and the blessings that they have been to others. My goal is to slowly post recaps. I think I am also going to go back all the way to the time when I first laid my eyes on Dana Fennell so they can see how this fairy tale began! <3

God is truly AMAZING!!!!
